Psalm 118 in Tamil

1. 1

   கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள், அவர் நல்லவர்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது.

   O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: because his mercy [endureth] for ever.

2. 2

   அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளதென்று இஸ்ரவேல் சொல்வதாக.

   Let Israel now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

3. 3

   அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளதென்று, ஆரோனின் குடும்பத்தார் சொல்வார்களாக.

   Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

4. 4

   அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளதென்று, கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவர்கள் சொல்வார்களாக.

   Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

5. 5

   நெருக்கத்திலிருந்து கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன், கர்த்தர் என்னைக் கேட்டருளி விசாலத்திலே வைத்தார்.

   I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, [and set me] in a large place.

6. 6

   கர்த்தர் என் பட்சத்தில் இருக்கிறார், நான் பயப்படேன்; மனுஷன் எனக்கு என்னசெய்வான்?

   The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

7. 7

   எனக்கு அநுகூலம் பண்ணுகிறவர்கள் நடுவில் கர்த்தர் என் பட்சத்தில் இருக்கிறார்; என் சத்துருக்களில் சரிக்கட்டுதலைக் காண்பேன்.

   The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see [my desire] upon them that hate me.

8. 8

   மனுஷனை நம்புவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், கர்த்தர் பேரில் பற்றுதலாயிருப்பதே நலம்.

   [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

9. 9

   பிரபுக்களை நம்புவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், கர்த்தர் பேரில் பற்றுதலாயிருப்பதே நலம்.

   [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

10. 10

    எல்லா ஜாதியாரும் என்னை வளைந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தினால் அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பேன்.

    All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.

11. 11

    என்னைச் சுற்றிலும் வளைந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தினால் அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பேன்.

    They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

12. 12

    தேனீக்களைப்போல என்னை வளைந்துகொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; முள்ளில் பற்றின நெருப்பைப்போல அணைந்து போவார்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தினால் அவர்களைச் சங்கரிப்பேன்.

    They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

13. 13

    நான் விழும்படி நீ என்னைத் தள்ளினாய்; கர்த்தரோ எனக்கு உதவி செய்தார்.

    Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

14. 14

    கர்த்தர் என் பெலனும், என் கீதமுமானவர்; அவர் எனக்கு இரட்சிப்புமானார்.

    The LORD [is] my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

15. 15

    நீதிமான்களுடைய கூடாரங்களில் இரட்சிப்பின் கெம்பீரசத்தம் உண்டு; கர்த்தரின் வலதுகரம் பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்யும்.

    The voice of rejoicing and salvation [is] in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

16. 16

    கர்த்தரின் வலதுகரம் உயர்ந்திருக்கிறது, கர்த்தரின் வலதுகரம் பராக்கிரமஞ்செய்யும்.

    The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

17. 17

    நான் சாவாமல், பிழைத்திருந்து, கர்த்தருடைய செய்கைகளை விவரிப்பேன்.

    I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

18. 18

    கர்த்தர் என்னை வெகுவாய்த்தண்டித்தும், என்னைச் சாவுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவில்லை.

    The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

19. 19

    நீதியின் வாசல்களைத் திறவுங்கள்; நான் அவைகளுக்குள் பிரவேசித்துக் கர்த்தரைத் துதிப்பேன்.

    Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, [and] I will praise the LORD:

20. 20

    கர்த்தரின் வாசல் இதுவே; நீதிமான்கள் இதற்குள் பிரவேசிப்பார்கள்.

    This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

21. 21

    நீர் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, எனக்கு இரட்சிப்பாயிருந்தபடியால், நான் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்.

    I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

22. 22

    வீடுகட்டுகிறவர்கள் ஆகாதென்று தள்ளின கல்லே, மூலைக்குத் தலைக்கல்லாயிற்று.

    The stone [which] the builders refused is become the head [stone] of the corner.

23. 23

    அது கர்த்தராலே ஆயிற்று, அது நம்முடைய கண்களுக்கு ஆச்சரியமாயிருக்கிறது.

    This is the LORD’s doing; it [is] marvellous in our eyes.

24. 24

    இது கர்த்தர் உண்டுபண்ணின நாள்; இதிலே களிகூர்ந்து மகிழக்கடவோம்.

    This [is] the day [which] the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25. 25

    கர்த்தாவே, இரட்சியும்; கர்த்தாவே, காரியத்தை வாய்க்கப்பண்ணும்.

    Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

26. 26

    கர்த்தருடையநாமத்தினாலேவருகிறவர் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்பட்டவர்; கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலிருந்து உங்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறோம்.

    Blessed [be] he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

27. 27

    கர்த்தர் நம்மைப் பிரகாசிப்பிக்கிற தேவனாயிருக்கிறார்; பண்டிகைப் பலியைக் கொண்டுபோய்ப் பலிபீடத்தின் கொம்புகளில் கயிறுகளால் கட்டுங்கள்.

    God [is] the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, [even] unto the horns of the altar.

28. 28

    நீர் என் தேவன், நான் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; நீர் என் தேவன், நான் உம்மை உயர்த்துவேன்.

    Thou [art] my God, and I will praise thee: [thou art] my God, I will exalt thee.

29. 29

    கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள், அவர் நல்லவர்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது. ஆலேப்.

    O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
