Psalm 147 in Tamil

1. 1

   கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்; நம்முடைய தேவனைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுகிறது நல்லது, துதித்தலே இன்பமும் ஏற்றதுமாயிருக்கிறது.

   Praise ye the LORD: for [it is] good to sing praises unto our God; for [it is] pleasant; [and] praise is comely.

2. 2

   கர்த்தர் எருசலேமைக் கட்டுகிறார்; துரத்துண்ட இஸ்ரவேலரைக் கூட்டிச் சேர்க்கிறார்.

   The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

3. 3

   இருதயம் நொறுங்குண்டவர்களைக் குணமாக்குகிறார், அவர்களுடைய காயங்களைக் கட்டுகிறார்.

   He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

4. 4

   அவர் நட்சத்திரங்களின் இலக்கத்தை எண்ணி, அவைகளுக்கெல்லாம் பேரிட்டு அழைக்கிறார்.

   He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by [their] names.

5. 5

   நம்முடைய ஆண்டவர் பெரியவரும் மகா பெலமுள்ளவருமாயிருக்கிறார்; அவருடைய அறிவு அளவில்லாதது.

   Great [is] our Lord, and of great power: his understanding [is] infinite.

6. 6

   கர்த்தர் சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களை உயர்த்துகிறார்; துன்மார்க்கரைத் தரைமட்டும் தாழ்த்துகிறார்.

   The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.

7. 7

   கர்த்தரைத் துதியுடன் பாடிக்கொண்டாடுங்கள்; நம்முடைய தேவனைச் சுரமண்டலத்தால் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள்.

   Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:

8. 8

   அவர் வானத்தை மேகங்களால் மூடி, பூமிக்கு மழையை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி, மலைகளில் புல்லை முளைப்பிக்கிறார்.

   Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

9. 9

   அவர் மிருகஜீவன்களுக்கும் கூப்பிடுகிற காக்கைக் குஞ்சுகளுக்கும் ஆகாரங்கொடுக்கிறார்.

   He giveth to the beast his food, [and] to the young ravens which cry.

10. 10

    அவர் குதிரையின் பலத்தில் விருப்பமாயிரார்; வீரனுடைய கால்களில் பிரியப்படார்.

    He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.

11. 11

    தமக்குப் பயந்து, தமது கிருபைக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்கள்மேல் கர்த்தர் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார்.

    The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

12. 12

    எருசலேமே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரி; சீயோனே, உன் தேவனைத் துதி.

    Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

13. 13

    அவர் உன் வாசல்களின் தாழ்ப்பாள்களைப் பலப்படுத்தி, உன்னிடத்திலுள்ள உன் பிள்ளைகளை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார்.

    For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.

14. 14

    அவர் உன் எல்லைகளைச் சமாதானமுள்ளவைகளாக்கி, உச்சிதமான கோதுமையினால் உன்னைத் திருப்தியாக்குகிறார்.

    He maketh peace [in] thy borders, [and] filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

15. 15

    அவர் தமது வார்த்தையைப் பூமியிலே அனுப்புகிறார்; அவருடைய சொல் மகா தீவிரமாய்ச் செல்லுகிறது.

    He sendeth forth his commandment [upon] earth: his word runneth very swiftly.

16. 16

    பஞ்சைப்போல் உறைந்த மழையைத் தருகிறார்; சாம்பலைப்போல உறைந்த பனியைத் தூவுகிறார்.

    He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.

17. 17

    அவர் தமது கல்மழையைத் துணிக்கைகளாக அனுப்புகிறார்; அவருடைய குளிருக்கு முன்பாக நிற்பவன் யார்?

    He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

18. 18

    அவர் தமது வார்த்தையை அனுப்பி, அவைகளை உருகப்பண்ணுகிறார்; தமது காற்றை வீசும்படி செய்ய, தண்ணீர்கள் ஓடும்.

    He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, [and] the waters flow.

19. 19

    யாக்கோபுக்குத் தம்முடைய வசனங்களையும், இஸ்ரவேலுக்குத் தமது பிரமாணங்களையும் தமது நியாயங்களையும் அறிவிக்கிறார்.

    He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

20. 20

    அவர் வேறே எந்த ஜாதிக்கும் இப்படிச் செய்ததில்லை; அவருடைய நியாயங்களை அறியாமற்போகிறார்கள். அல்லேலூயா.

    He hath not dealt so with any nation: and [as for his] judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
