ಆತನ ಕೋಪದ ಕೋಲಿನಿಂದ ಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನಾನೇ.
I [am] the man [that] hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.
ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆತಂದು ನಡಿಸಿದ್ದು ಕತ್ತಲೆಗೇ ಹೊರತು ಬೆಳಕಿಗಲ್ಲ.
He hath led me, and brought [me into] darkness, but not [into] light.
ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Surely against me is he turned; he turneth his hand [against me] all the day.
ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸ ಚರ್ಮವನ್ನೂ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮುರಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones.
ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ವಿಷದಿಂದಲೂ ಸಂಕಟದಿಂದಲೂ ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
He hath builded against me, and compassed [me] with gall and travail.
ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಹು ಕಾಲದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸತ್ತವರ ಹಾಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
He hath set me in dark places, as [they that be] dead of old.
ನಾನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಾರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಬೇಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಕೋಲೆಯ ಭಾರವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy.
ನಾನು ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟು ಕೂಗಿದರೂ ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.
ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ಕಲ್ಲಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಡೊಂಕು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
He hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked.
ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕುವ ಕರಡಿಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಗುಪ್ತಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.
He [was] unto me [as] a bear lying in wait, [and as] a lion in secret places.
ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces: he hath made me desolate.
ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಬಗ್ಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಬತ್ತಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಬಾಣಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೂರಿಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ.
He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.
ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹಾಸ್ಯವೂ ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅವರ ಹಾಡಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.
I was a derision to all my people; [and] their song all the day.
ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಹಿಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸಿ ಮಾಚಿ ಪತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಮಲೇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
He hath filled me with bitterness, he hath made me drunken with wormwood.
ಆತನು ನುರುಜು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೂದಿಯಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes.
ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ದೂರಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಾನು ಏಳಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು.
And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I forgat prosperity.
ನನ್ನ ಬಲವೂ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯೂ ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ನಾಶವಾದವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ
And I said, My strength and my hope is perished from the LORD:
ನನ್ನ ಸಂಕಟವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಚಿಪತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಷವನ್ನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.
Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.
ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಕುಂದಿಹೋಗಿದೆ.
My soul hath [them] still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.
ಇದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತರುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಆದದರಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇದೆ.
This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
ಕರ್ತನ ಕನಿಕರಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ನಾವು ನಾಶವಾಗ ಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆತನ ಅಂತಃಕರುಣೆಯು ಮುಗಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
[It is of] the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
ಅವು ಪ್ರತಿ ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯೂ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿರುವವು; ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಯು ಮಹತ್ತಾದದ್ದು.
[They are] new every morning: great [is] thy faithfulness.
ಕರ್ತನೇ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲೆಂದು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ, ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
The LORD [is] my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
ಕರ್ತನು ತನಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುವವನಿಗೂ ಹುಡುಕುವ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
The LORD [is] good unto them that wait for him, to the soul [that] seeketh him.
ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದ ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯು ವದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
[It is] good that [a man] should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
ತನ್ನ ಯೌವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೊಗವನ್ನು ಹೊರುವದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
[It is] good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.
ಅವನು ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಮೌನ ವಾಗಿರುವನು, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne [it] upon him.
ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇರುವದಾದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ಯನ್ನು ದೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope.
ಆತನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯುವವನಿಗೆ ಕೆನ್ನೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ ಆತನು ನಿಂದೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ತುಂಬಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
He giveth [his] cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach.
ಕರ್ತನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ;
For the Lord will not cast off for ever:
ಆತನು ದುಃಖಪಡಿಸಿದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾತಿಶಯದಿಂದ ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವನು.
But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
ಆತನು ಇಷ್ಟಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸುವದು ಇಲ್ಲ ದುಃಖಿಸು ವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಸೆರೆಯವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಲುಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ತುಳಿಯುವದನ್ನೂ
To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth,
ಮಹೋನ್ನತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸು ವದನ್ನೂ
To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High,
ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅವನ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಡಿಸುವದನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not.
ಕರ್ತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸದಿರು ವಾಗ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳುವವನು ಯಾರು?
Who [is] he [that] saith, and it cometh to pass, [when] the Lord commandeth [it] not?
ಮಹೋನ್ನತನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೂ ಹೊರಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೇ?
Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?
ಬದುಕುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗಾಗಿ ಗುಣು ಗುಟ್ಟುವದೇಕೆ?
Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಮತ್ತೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ.
Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.
ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕೈಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ.
Let us lift up our heart with [our] hands unto God in the heavens.
ನಾವು ದ್ರೋಹಮಾಡಿ ಎದುರು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ನೀನು ಮನ್ನಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned.
ಕೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ, ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿದ್ದೀ; ಕನಿಕರಿಸದೆ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿರುವಿ.
Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied.
ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥ ನೆಯು ನಿನಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟದಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೇಘದಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ.
Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that [our] prayer should not pass through.
ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಮಷವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಸವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ.
Thou hast made us [as] the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.
ನಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಬಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
All our enemies have opened their mouths against us.
ಭಯವೂ ಬೋನೂ ನಾಶನವೂ ಸಂಹಾರವೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದಿವೆ.
Fear and a snare is come upon us, desolation and destruction.
ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಕುಮಾರಿಯ ನಾಶನದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ನೀರು ನದಿಯಾಗಿ ಹರಿದುಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.
Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
ಕರ್ತನು ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ನೋಡುವ ತನಕ ನೇತ್ರವು ಎಡೆಬಿಡದೆ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ;
Mine eye trickleth down, and ceaseth not, without any intermission,
ವಿಶ್ರಮಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Till the LORD look down, and behold from heaven.
ನನ್ನ ನಗರದ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೆಲ್ಲರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಪೀಡಿಸಿದೆ.
Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city.
ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಠೋರವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಬೇಟೆಯಾಡಿದರು.
Mine enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause.
ಅವರು ಕಾರಾಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone upon me.
ಪ್ರವಾಹವು ನನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿಯಿತು; ಆಗ--ನಾನು ಸತ್ತೆನು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
Waters flowed over mine head; [then] I said, I am cut off.
ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ಆಳವಾದ ಕಾರಾಗೃಹದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.
I called upon thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon.
ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀ; ನನ್ನ ಶ್ವಾಸಕ್ಕೂ ನನ್ನ ಕೂಗಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಯನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry.
ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು--ಭಯಪಡ ಬೇಡ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಿ.
Thou drewest near in the day [that] I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.
ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದ್ದೀ.
O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.
ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀ, ನನಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸು.
O LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.
ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರತೀಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದ ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ನೋಡಿರುವಿ.
Thou hast seen all their vengeance [and] all their imaginations against me.
ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಅವರ ನಿಂದೆಯನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದ ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವವರ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ
Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, [and] all their imaginations against me;
ದಿನವಿಡೀ ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದ ಅವರ ದುರಾಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿರುವಿ.
The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day.
ಅವರು ಕೂಡ್ರುವದನ್ನೂ ಏಳುವದನ್ನೂ ನೋಡು; ನಾನೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಗೀತವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Behold their sitting down, and their rising up; I [am] their musick.
ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಅವರ ಕೈಕೆಲಸಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು.
Render unto them a recompence, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.
ಅವರಿಗೆ ದುಃಖಕರವಾದ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಶಾಪವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡು.ಕರ್ತನೇ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡು.
Give them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them.
ಕರ್ತನೇ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡು.
Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD.
