1. 1

   இஸ்ரவேலர் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட இரண்டாம் வருஷம் இரண்டாம் மாதம் முதல் தேதியில், கர்த்தர் சீனாய் வனாந்தரத்திலிருக்கிற ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திலே மோசேயை நோக்கி:

   And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first [day] of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

2. 2

   நீங்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் முழுச் சபையாயிருக்கிற அவர்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய வீட்டு வம்சங்களிலுள்ள புருஷர் களாகிய சகல தலைகளையும் பேர்பேராக எண்ணித் தொகையேற்றுங்கள்.

   Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of [their] names, every male by their polls;

3. 3

   இஸ்ரவேலிலே இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்துக்குப் புறப்படத்தக்கவர்கள் எல்லாரையும் அவர்கள் சேனைகளின்படி நீயும் ஆரோனும் எண்ணிப் பார்ப்பீர்களாக.

   From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.

4. 4

   ஒவ்வொரு கோத்திரத்துக்கு ஒவ்வொரு மனிதன் உங்களோடே இருப்பானாக; அவன் தன் பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்துக்குத் தலைவனாயிருக்க வேண்டும்.

   And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.

5. 5

   உங்களோடே நிற்கவேண்டிய மனிதருடைய நாமங்களாவன: ரூபன் கோத்திரத்தில் சேதேயூருடைய குமாரன் எலிசூர்.

   And these [are] the names of the men that shall stand with you: of [the tribe of] Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.

6. 6

   சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்தில் சூரிஷதாயின் குமாரன் செலூமியேல்.

   Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

7. 7

   யூதா கோத்திரத்தில் அம்மினதாபின் குமாரன் நகசோன்.

   Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

8. 8

   இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்தில் சூவாரின் குமாரன் நெதனெயேல்.

   Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.

9. 9

   செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்தில் ஏலோனின் குமாரன் எலியாப்.

   Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.

10. 10

    யோசேப்பின் குமாரராகிய எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்தில் அம்மியூதின் குமாரன் எலிஷாமா; மனாசே கோத்திரத்தில் பெதாசூரின் குமாரன் கமாலியேல்.

    Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud: of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

11. 11

    பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தில் கீதெயோனின் குமாரன் அபீதான்.

    Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.

12. 12

    தாண் கோத்திரத்தில் அம்மிஷதாயின் குமாரன் அகியேசேர்.

    Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

13. 13

    ஆசேர் கோத்திரத்தில் ஓகிரானின் குமாரன் பாகியேல்.

    Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran.

14. 14

    காத் கோத்திரத்தில் தேகுவேலின் குமாரன் எலியாசாப்.

    Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

15. 15

    நப்தலி கோத்திரத்தில் ஏனானின் குமாரன் அகீரா.

    Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan.

16. 16

    இவர்களே சபையில் ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டவர்களும், தங்கள் தங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய கோத்திரங்களில் பிரபுக்களும், இஸ்ரவேலில் ஆயிரவர்களுக்குத் தலைவருமாயிருப்பவர்கள் என்றார்.

    These [ were] the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.

17. 17

    அப்படியே மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் பேர்பேராகக் குறிக்கப்பட்ட இந்த மனிதரைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு,

    And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by [their] names:

18. 18

    இரண்டாம் மாதம் முதல் தேதியில் சபையார் எல்லாரையும் கூடிவரச்செய்தார்கள். அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் தங்கள் தங்கள் குடும்பத்தின்படிக்கும், பிதாக்களுடைய வம்சத்தின்படிக்கும், நாமத்தொகையின்படிக்கும், இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் தலைதலையாகத் தங்கள் வம்ச உற்பத்தியைத் தெரிவித்தார்கள்.

    And they assembled all the congregation together on the first [day] of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.

19. 19

    இப்படிக் கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, மோசே அவர்களைச் சீனாய் வனாந்தரத்தில் எண்ணிப்பார்த்தான்.

    As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

20. 20

    இஸ்ரவேலின் மூத்தகுமாரனாகிய ரூபன் புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் தலைதலையாக எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

    And the children of Reuben, Israel’s eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

21. 21

    ரூபன் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், நாற்பத்தாறாயிரத்து ஐந்நூறு பேர்.

    Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Reuben, [were] forty and six thousand and five hundred.

22. 22

    சிமியோன் புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் தலைதலையாக எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

    Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

23. 23

    சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், ஐம்பத்தொன்பதினாயிரத்துமுந்நூறுபேர்.

    Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Simeon, [were] fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.

24. 24

    காத் புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

    Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

25. 25

    காத் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், நாற்பத்தையாயிரத்து அறுநூற்று ஐம்பதுபேர்.

    Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Gad, [were] forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.

26. 26

    யூதா புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

    Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

27. 27

    யூதா கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், எழுபத்து நாலாயிரத்து அறுநூறுபேர்.

    Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Judah, [were] threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.

28. 28

    இசக்கார் புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

    Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

29. 29

    இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், ஐம்பத்து நாலாயிரத்து நானூறுபேர்.

    Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Issachar, [were] fifty and four thousand and four hundred.

30. 30

    செபுலோன் புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திறகுப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

    Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

31. 31

    செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், ஐம்பத்தேழாயிரத்துநானூறுபேர்.

    Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Zebulun, [were] fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.

32. 32

    யோசேப்பின் குமாரரில் எப்பிராயீம் புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள்முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

    Of the children of Joseph, [namely], of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

33. 33

    எப்பிராயீம் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், நாற்பதினாயிரத்து ஐந்நூறுபேர்.

    Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Ephraim, [were] forty thousand and five hundred.

34. 34

    மனாசே புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

    Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

35. 35

    மனாசே கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், முப்பத்தீராயிரத்து இருநூறுபேர்.

    Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Manasseh, [were] thirty and two thousand and two hundred.

36. 36

    பென்யமீன் புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

    Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

37. 37

    பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், முப்பத்தையாயிரத்துநானூறுபேர்.

    Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Benjamin, [were] thirty and five thousand and four hundred.

38. 38

    தாண் புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

    Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

39. 39

    தாண் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், அறுபத்தீராயிரத்து எழுநூறுபேர்.

    Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Dan, [were] threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.

40. 40

    ஆசேர் புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

    Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

41. 41

    ஆசேர் கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், நாற்பத்தோராயிரத்து ஐந்நூறுபேர்.

    Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Asher, [were] forty and one thousand and five hundred.

42. 42

    நப்தலி புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டு வம்சத்தாரில் இருபது வயதுள்ளவர்கள் முதல் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்க புருஷர்கள் எல்லாரும் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது,

    Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

43. 43

    நப்தலி கோத்திரத்தில் எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள், ஐம்பத்து மூவாயிரத்து நானூறுபேர்.

    Those that were numbered of them, [even] of the tribe of Naphtali, [were] fifty and three thousand and four hundred.

44. 44

    எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் இவர்களே; மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் இஸ்ரவேலுடைய பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு வம்சத்துக்கு ஒவ்வொரு பிரபுவாகிய பன்னிரண்டுபேரும் எண்ணினார்கள்.

    These [are] those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, [being] twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.

45. 45

    இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்தில் இருபது வயதுள்ளளவர்கள்முதல், இஸ்ரவேலில் யுத்தத்திற்குப் புறப்படத்தக்கவர்களாகிய எண்ணப்பட்ட பேர்கள் எல்லாரும்,

    So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;

46. 46

    ஆறுலட்சத்து மூவாயிரத்து ஐந்நூற்று ஐம்பது பேராயிருந்தார்கள்.

    Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

47. 47

    லேவியர் தங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய கோத்திரத்தின்படியே, மற்றவர்களுடனே எண்ணப்படவில்லை.

    But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

48. 48

    கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

    For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,

49. 49

    நீ லேவி கோத்திரத்தாரை மாத்திரம் எண்ணாமலும், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குள்ளே அவர்கள் தொகையை ஏற்றாமலும்,

    Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:

50. 50

    லேவியரைச் சாட்சியின் வாசஸ்தலத்திற்கும், அதினுடைய சகல பணிமுட்டுகளுக்கும், அதிலுள்ள சமஸ்த பொருள்களுக்கும் விசாரிப்புக்காரராக ஏற்படுத்து; அவர்கள் வாசஸ்தலத்தையும் அதின் சகல பணிமுட்டுகளையும் சுமப்பார்களாக; அதினிடத்தில் ஊழியம் செய்து, வாசஸ்தலத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் பாளையமிறங்கக்கடவர்கள்.

    But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that [belong] to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.

51. 51

    வாசஸ்தலம் புறப்படும்போது, லேவியர் அதை இறக்கிவைத்து, அது ஸ்தாபனம் பண்ணப்படும்போது, லேவியர் அதை எடுத்து நிறுத்தக்கடவர்கள்; அந்நியன் அதற்குச் சமீபத்தில் வந்தால் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன்.

    And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

52. 52

    இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் தங்கள் தங்கள் பாளையத்தோடும், தங்கள் தங்கள் சேனையின் கொடியோடும் கூடாரம் போடக்கடவர்கள்.

    And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.

53. 53

    இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரராகிய சபையின்மேல் கடுங்கோபம் வராதபடிக்கு லேவியர் சாட்சியின் வாசஸ்தலத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் பாளயமிறங்கி, லேவியர் சாட்சியின் வாசஸ்தலத்தைக் காவல்காப்பார்களாக என்றார்.

    But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.

54. 54

    கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடி எல்லாவற்றையும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் செய்தார்கள்.

    And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
